Big Bear Lake’s Halloween in the Village

Big Bear Lake celebrates Halloween throughout the Valley. Not only can you see decorations by locals, Mother Nature also competes for attention. One trip down Foxfarm and you’ll think you’ve changed coasts. We have beautiful yellows, brilliant oranges and a few reds. The more adventurous people head off-road to see the Aspens turn yellow. The Aspen Glen at Fish Creek usually puts on a spectacular display.

The best known mountain-top Halloween event is Halloween in the Village. It’s sponsored by the City of Big Bear Lake, the Village Business Associations and other Village merchants, lodges and restaurants. Children come from all over to enjoy the treats and a tradition celebration in a safe, friendly environment.

The streets in the Village will close to thru traffic and the treats begin at 5:00 PM and continue until 7:30 PM. We suggest you park at the Visitor Center (Bartlett ST.) From here you can stroll through the Village and enjoy more than 50 candy stops with all of the gouls and ghosts Big Bear has to offer. Don’t forget your costume or you’ll miss out on the trick or treating! For more info, call (909) 866-4747.
