In addition, there are many more offerings throughout Big Bear. Recently, a Photography Club has come together and meets on the last Thursday of the month.

If you are over 60, Senior Citizens of Big Bear Valley, located on the Boulevard across from Baker Pond, offers a large variety of activites. A few of these activities are: Arts & Crafts classes, weekly Bingo, Country Line Dancing, Knitting, Crochet and Quilting Bees and a travel group that explores locations all over Southern California.

There are many more organizations awaiting your participation in the Big Bear area. We haven’t mentioned the wide variety of offerings for children and teenagers. Sports activities are available throughout the year, from skiing, to softball, to swimming and sailing. The Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District (909) 866-9700, offers a large listing of great activities for all ages.
